Each one of us is responsible for seeking, finding, retaining and protecting our own PEACE.
Peace is not what we achieve just once and get done. It is a choice we make every single day, every moment, during every conversation we get in, every response we give or not give.
We cannot keep inviting anger, anxiety, hurt, pain, and all sorts of emotions that do not contribute to our peace. Remember a lot, actually everything depends on the choices we make and those we don't.
We need to constantly protect our peace bubble and be very clear and vocal about what gets allowed inside the bubble and what doesn't.
Often misconstrued as 'absence of anger or arguments', peace isn't really about NOT having these around you. It is more about not allowing these to either enter your bubble or if it does, then not letting them impact your inner state of bliss and calm.
So next time before responding to that phone call, or message; before answering an email or contributing to an agrument; before being a silent spectator to any injustice to self or another..... choose peace. And if you do, every time you do, you will be more at peace with your choice too.
